The California Department of Veteran Affairs
AxHill has been working with the California Department of Veteran Affairs to determine strategic technologies focused on reducing Veteran unemployment and connecting Veterans together. AxHill has worked with hundreds of Veterans, Veteran service organizations, and workforce development projects. Our goal is to gather enough research to provide a solution for all U.S. Veterans to obtain jobs faster and easier using modern technology tools. This research project combines AxHill's deep scientific knowledge on Veteran behavioral health around PTSD and TBI with expertise in mobile and web technologies.

Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs
AxHill provided expertise to the Medical and Health Affairs devision (now Military Personnel) on topics related to traumatic brain injury (TBI), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other behavioral health issues. This included working with Civilian Army Leadership to develop policy, stay current with Congressional requirements set forth through the National Defense Authorization Act, and execute oversight of programs and services. This meant interpreting DoD Instructions and Directives, responding to DoD level requests for information, and preparing Senior leaders for Congressional engagements.

The U.S. Army Health Promotion, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention Report
AxHill worked with Senior Army Leadership to develop and publish the Army's Health Promotion, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention Report 2010. This included authoring sections of the report, working with Army Staff to extract and analyze complex data sets, providing information to Senior Leadership during press roll-out, and providing assets to strategic briefing teams to educate the broader Army on the overall report.

AxHill Begins Work on OPMG Website
The AxHill Government Solutions division has been providing expert scientific and data analysis to the Office of the Provost Marshal General within the U.S. Army for more than a year now. OPMG has now brought in the AxHill IT Solutions team to assess their current web presence and develop a new site with modern web standards using Drupal. The site should be done by the end of October.
Teaming with ACET
Adams Communications is a small business with large aspirations. ACET was recently awarded one of eight spots on the T4 Veteran Affairs award worth $12 billion over 5 years. AxHill Government and IT Solutions have met with the President of ACET and is now working to be a strategic partner to provide innovative web and mobile applications for Information Technology needs of the federal VA.

Alissa is now the lead person for AxHill Government Solutions within the OPMG Pentagon team. She has completed amazing projects, reports and has been a true leader to help our OPMG stakeholders be more successful and help Army soldiers be more effective at fighting PTSD, TBI, and other mental trauma.
